Wendy's chicken biscuit sandwiches 'combining savory and sweet' announced for just $1

Wendy's has announced an incredible deal that, quite literally, takes the biscuit. The popular fast food restaurant announced that their chicken biscuit sandwiches are going for just $1.

Wendy's is offering the steal of a price during what they call "Unhappy Hour". Customers can bag a Honey Buddy for just $1 with any purchase in the Wendy’s app weekly during breakfast hours.

The Honey Buddy is the new name for the Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit. A biscuit is topped with fried chicken and drizzled in maple honey butter, making for a “harmonious balance of savory and sweet in every bite.”

Want your Wendy’s chicken biscuit for a $1? You better hurry up! The deal is good now through October. Meanwhile, the food giant plans to launch in the Irish market as part of its European expansion strategy.

Wendy's , originally founded in Ohio in 1969 by Dave Thomas, inked a new franchise agreement to set up shop in Ireland from 2025.

According to a representative from the burger behemoth, the deal will lead to the launch of 30 eateries across the Republic of Ireland over the next 10 years.
