Prosecutors Name Sean “Diddy” Combs 77 Times in Tupac Shakur Murder Case for Allegedly Ordering the Hit: Report

While holding titles like record producer and executive, Sean “Diddy” Combs started his career as a rapper. Throughout his time in the spotlight, the rapper helped discover talents like Mary J. Blige, Usher, and even the Notorious B.I.G. Outside of holding numerous awards, Combs found himself on the wrong side of the law when numerous women accused him of sexual assault. And now, it appears that his legal battles continue to mount as prosecutors named him in a case revolving around the murder of Tupac Shakur.

According to the U.S. Sun, Duane “Keefe D” Davis, who is currently accused of murdering Tupac, named Combs as the one who ordered the hit. Sharing his side of the story, Davis claimed that Combs paid Eric Von Martin $1 million for the murder. Although murdered back in September 1996, the question remains – who killed Tupac? With Davis arrested last year, it is unknown if Combs will be indicted or subpoenaed.

Looking at the documents filed on July 18, Combs found himself listed a staggering 77 times. Going by different names, the filing states, “Task Force Detectives believed they had jurisdiction to investigate a Nevada homicide because Defendant asserted that the conspiracy to commit the murder began in California between Defendant, Eric ‘Zip’ Martin, and Sean Combs.”

As for Davis, the documents added he only exposed himself. “Defendant [Keefe] has asserted publicly that he only told on himself and wasn’t trying to provide evidence against anyone else in his conversations with police. However, this statement belies this claim, as he suggested that Sean Combs paid Eric Von Martin a million dollars for the killings.”

When police asked Davis if Combs paid for the murder, he replied yes before adding, “I wish I never met Puff Daddy, period. I swear to God…He messed up my life, man. I was, I was rich, up under the radar, all that, man…it’s all gone.”

With Combs subject to sexual assault claims, murder accusations, and house raids, it seems the legal troubles continue for the record producer. And for Keefe, last month, a court rejected a $112,500 bail bond due to confusion surrounding the source of the funds. On Tuesday, Keefe will held to court once again for another bail hearing.
