Jennifer Lopez had an "air of grim determination" as she was spotted on a bike ride with friends amid reports she is trying to save her marriage with Ben Affleck .
The singer, 55, wore a matching floral two-piece as she cycled around the Hamptons with her pals, just one day before her 55th birthday. While her husband didn't join her for the outing, J-Lo was seen wearing her wedding ring.
Both Ben and Jennifer have been seen wearing their rings less in recent weeks amid rumors they're heading for a divorce. However, it's now been reported that the couple are sending each other love letters to try and rekindle their romance and body language expert Judi James said J-Lo looks like she is "throwing everything" at her marriage.

Speaking exclusively to The Mirror US, Judi said: "There’s something of an air of grim determination about Jen’s body language and non-verbal signaling here. The bike ride looks like it could have been a vanity exercise, with her romantic flowing floral skirt and white gladiator shoes, but she’s combined it with an expression and posture that suggests she’s training up for the Olympics.
"If she is giving her marriage another go behind the scenes then her body language here hints she’s throwing everything into it but why the narrative style bulletins? Writing letters sounds like a good idea to get inner thoughts across in an intimate way but the fact the fans all seem to know about it turns ‘private and intimate’ into public and revealing, which could put added pressure onto both of them."
Judi's comments come after a source said Ben and Jennifer are making progress in their attempts to save their marriage. They explained: "Jen and Ben agreed it is best to take some time apart so they can really figure out what it is that they want.

"They were ready to throw in the towel. Divorce papers are done and ready to be filed. But they wanted to give it one last go before walking away from this and are going back to the beginning by writing each other letters."
Speaking to the Daily Mail , the source explained how letter writing is "what made them fall in love in the first place." However, the source said J-Lo will be choosing a different path if they decide to rekindle their romance and keeping her love life more private.
They said: "This time JLo will definitely not be showing anyone these letters and they are just to stay between her and Ben." The source then said it's "looking promising" for the couple.
