Abel Tesfaye gives fans a preview of what to expect for the final installment of his popular album trilogy.

The artist formerly known as The Weeknd delivered a lengthy snippet of an unreleased song on Tuesday, July 23. In the ominous trailer, a dramatic piano-laced instrumental plays as Tesfaye begins to croon the chorus. His soothing vocals are accompanied by trippy visuals that seemingly depict his inner child.

"Just hold my heart, real close to you/Remember how it always beats for you," he sings. "I'm falling out the speed of light/I'm staring at your shrinking face, don't cry/You know my heart belongs to you."

The remarkable teaser comes months after Tesfaye began to tease the third chapter of his trilogy following his After Hours and Dawn FM albums. In January, the Grammy award-winning singer teased the arrival of his next studio album by posting the cover art of his past two projects followed by a massive question mark. After alluding to the inner child theme in his feature for 032c magazine, Tesfaye shared another mind-blowing animated teaser to announce his upcoming show in São Paulo, Brazil on September 7. According to a press release, the show will feature "never-before-seen production."

"There Are Three Chapters in this Tale," he wrote in the caption. "See you in SÃO PAULO…

Tesfaye — who serves as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations World Food Programme — plans to partner with the organization once again to contribute $1 from each ticket sold from his São Paulo show to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which aids people in need during the ongoing global hunger crisis. Presale tickets are available now. Look out for Tesfaye's new album coming soon.
