Jack Osbourne is offering insight into how he treats his multiple sclerosis, and he credits "alternative" therapies. But that being said, he's also not opposed to traditional therapies.

In the latest episode of the family's podcast, The Osbournes , the 38-year-old shared that he's "doing very well with my MS" and that he doesn't have "any significant symptoms." For good measure, Jack added he hasn't had any significant symptoms "for a long time."

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic disease that attacks the central nervous system, affecting the brain, spinal cord and optic nerves. The onset of the disease usually shows up in young adults and the severity varies from person to person.

Upon hearing that his son's handling the disease as well as one could, Ozzy Osbourne asks him if the medication's helping him keep it under control.

"So, the short answer is no. The long answer is yes. I do a lot of supplementation. I have had some 'alternative' therapy treatments over the years," Jack said. "I do not take traditional MS medication currently but as you guys know, I've always leaned towards alternative therapies and this and that."

The father of four shared in June 2012 that he had been diagnosed with MS.

Just recently, Jack said he underwent a spine procedure called bio-cellular therapy at the Stem Cell Institute of Los Angeles, where they injected cells into his discs (or disc seal).

"I know it's not directly connected to MS, but it's kind of where I always lean now with any treatment or medication," he continued. "I like the notion of alternative. But I do believe that there is amazing results from pharmaceuticals. I think there's nothing wrong with it."

Jack's mom, Sharon Osbourne, suggests maybe doing both, alternative and traditional therapies.

"I think both together when needed is a great option," he said. "I just choose to not go down the route of pharmaceuticals for my MS right now. I'm absolutely open to it, if needed."
