Rikishi Removes Controversial Podcast Episode

Earlier this week, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi caused a stir on social media when he criticized WWE’s booking of his son Jey Uso during his podcast. During this episode, he would question why Jey wasn’t being given the “ gas pedal ” despite his hard work and even asked whether the company was trying to break up his marriage by having him associated with Rhea Ripley.

However, following his comments going viral, Solo Wrestling has noted that the episode has been taken down from Apple Podcasts and Spotify . Yet it was likely already too little too late as quotes and clips remain readily available.

At one time, most fans thought of The Usos as simply being tag team specialists and saw little potential in them evolving into singles stars. Yet, thanks to The Bloodline storyline, both men raised their game to new levels and have firmly established themselves as single competitors, with Jey having even headlined SummerSlam last year against Roman Reign. Still, Rikishi may have a point when you consider that Jey currently doesn’t even have a match on this year’s show.
