It’s a trend we’ve seen happening a bit now, but could former Diva Kaitlyn be ready to return as a WWE Superstar?

We’ve heard this a bit more over the last year and change. People that were perhaps less interested in a return to the “old” WWE while under control of the former regime have changed tunes. That may or may not be a motivating factor here (more on that in a minute). But, former Divas Champion Kaitlyn was recently interviewed and one topic of course had to come up.

Would she want to return to WWE?

And she was quite honest. Kaitlyn noted that she almost made a cameo at a recent Women’s Royal Rumble a couple years back, but it didn’t work out. She was there, but was not involved. But, as she discussed things, she acknowledged that she was in the best shape of her life and would be welcome to the opportunity, should it arise.

Now, we’ve heard of one current Superstar- Chelsea Green -wanting to revive the Divas Title. Of course, that was tied to her winning the Money In The Bank briefcase, which she did not. But, bringing in another former Divas Champion could be not a bad option. On one hand, I understand people would be concerned about an overcrowded locker room. Too many talents, not enough slots on television. I get that. But on the other hand, take a look around and recognize just how many top female Superstars have missed significant time in recent months due to maternity leaves or major injuries . Life happens, and having a strong and deep roster is one way to roll with the punches.

Having Kaitlyn return to WWE could add to the depth. Or, at worst, she could pop up in the 2025 Rumble-only this time, maybe WWE actually involves her. And one other thing about all that depth? I’ve long been surprised that WWE did not give us even an hour long show (on the Network or elsewhere) for the women to run the whole show. All the matches, the commentary, soup to nuts. They have Speed and Main Event, why can’t the women have their own show somewhere too?
