Drew Scott Sings His Favorite Kid Tunes in a Funny New Video & People Are Sending Song Requests

Tons of celebrities go from starring in TV shows to releasing music (looking at you, Sabrina Carpenter!), but going from a home improvement show to being a children’s music singer? It seems like a bit of a stretch … but in fact, Drew Scott could be the first! He may have a new show on HGTV and a hugely successful Property Brothers brand with his twin Jonathan Scott, but fans are calling for this funny dad to release an album of popular kids’ songs — and we totally agree!

Drew, who shares kids Parker, 2, and Piper, 2 months, with wife Linda Phan, just posted a video of himself singing toddler tunes. “Me after watching toddler shows,” the Backed by the Bros star wrote over an Instagram video that shows the wild life of being a toddler parent. He’s doing dishes in the kitchen, singing, “Hop little bunny, hop, hop, hop.”

In another clip, he’s driving and quietly singing, “Baby Shark doo doo doo doo doo doo” as he looks to each side and makes a turn. It’s clear that he isn’t singing to a baby in a car seat in the back — he’s just singing it to himself, because he can’t get the music out of his head. Been there!

At the end of the video, Drew is whistling in the bath while scrubbing his arms. After a few seconds, he shouts out “Bluey!” like the theme song from the popular Australian TV series.

“Once you hear it … you can’t un-hear it #parenthood ” he captioned the funny clip.

He may just have intended to share a relatable parenting moment, but people loved it. They sent song suggestions in the comments, and we can’t stop laughing.

“I learned how to speak a new language with Dora the Explorer! I think it’s time for you to put out a children’s music album 🎶” one person wrote. Someone else wrote, “We need to send you the ‘dirty car song’ that haunts our dreams.”

The official Bluey account even chimed in. “Burger Dog will be next 👀🍔” they wrote.

Drew has been nailing life as a dad of two since May. He posted the first picture of his daughter on Father’s Day, where he enjoys skin-to-skin time. He gazes adoringly at his baby girl, who has a thick head of dark brown hair just like her dad.

“My heart feels so full to now have two little ones call me ‘Daddy’! And thank you dad for shaping me into the man I am today. Happy #FathersDay! ❤️” he wrote in the caption.

There are some annoying parts of parenthood (except Bluey , you can never be annoying!), but the love of your kids makes everything worth it.
