British post-rock greats have announced their first album in 13 years. It’s titled Everything Squared — at six songs and 26 minutes, technically it’s a mini-LP — and will be out August 30 via Warp. It was made primarily by Mark Clifford and Sarah Peacock, with bassist Shigeru Ishihara playing on two songs.

What A Relief is due out on October 25 via Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records, and Gavin describes it as “Lilith Fair-core.” She says, “This record spans a lot of my life – it’s about having a really deep desire for connection, but also encountering all the obstacles that stood in my way to be able to achieve that, patterns of isolation or even boredom with the real work of love. Weezer are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their classic 1994 debut, Blue Album this year, with a big arena tour with The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr., “Voyage to the Blue Planet,” beginning in September. The tour hits NYC on Madison Square Garden on September 11, but they’ve brought Blue Album to The Big Apple ahead of that, with a new Weezer wall in Brooklyn. The wall, located at 283 4th Ave, now sports a stylized version of the album cover, with the outlines of silhouettes in place of the band members, and the Weezer logo; it was already painted blue, housing Square Design Inc, who Weezer thank for the wall space. Portland, OR melodic metalcore purveyors Dying Wish and LIHC ass-beaters Pain of Truth have announced a co-headlining tour for this October, with support coming from the Bay Area hardcore band Outta Pocket and Connecticut’s deathcore-ish Balmora. The tour kicks off in Houston on October 7 after Dying Wish and Pain of Truth both play Furnace Fest, and it ends in Brooklyn on Halloween (10/31) at Monarch. There’s also a NJ date at Salty’s Beach Bar (10/29) shortly before the NYC show. Tickets for the tour go on sale artist presale Thursday (7/25) at 10 AM Eastern with the general public on-sale starting Friday (7/26) at 10 AM local. All dates are listed below.
