CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, S.C. (TCN) -- A 45-year-old woman is facing multiple felony charges for allegedly kidnaping and attacking her husband’s girlfriend and the victim’s 8-year-old son.

According to a statement, on May 28, the Chesterfield County Sheriff’s Office learned a woman and her son had been forcefully taken from their home. Deputies located the two victims about eight hours later and said the adult was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Deputies arrested two people that day, but said they "anticipated" other arrests.

Several weeks later, on June 20, the Tunica County Sheriff’s Office in Mississippi received a report that Amy Perez, who was wanted on an outstanding warrant, was at a casino in the area. Tunica County deputies soon arrested Perez on charges of intimidation of court officials, impersonating law enforcement officer, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, attempted murder, two counts of kidnapping, and burglary.

WPDE-TV reports Chesterfield County investigator Heather Mays said at a court hearing this week that Perez and her two sons "forced entry into the victim’s residence." She reportedly was aware that her estranged husband would not be home when she and her co-conspirators took the victims. Perez allegedly transported them to a vacant property, then cut the girlfriend on her arm and stabbed her in the lower ribs.

Mays said the stabbing lacerated the victim’s liver and she was "forced to stay in the hospital for around three days due to the injuries she sustained."

WPDE reports Perez placed multiple location trackers on her husband’s car. She allegedly called her estranged husband and said she would free the victims if he came back to her.

A judge denied Perez bond at her hearing on July 23.

Crazy woman, to bad she got her 2 sons involved. Why hangout at a casino. So many red flags on why her husband wouldn't want to be with her. I feel bad for the woman and her 8 yr old son. Good men deserve good woman. My brother divorced his wife and brought home a beautiful woman and little boy and she graduated college and Now works for the State as an Investigator for CPS. That woman is a danger to society standing the girlfriend.
