Hot dog! Al Roker shared a bold message following the recent Oscar Mayer Wienermobile accident.

Earlier this week, one of the promotional vehicles—which, if you have never seen one, takes the shape of a giant hot dog—found itself in a bit of a pickle when it was involved in an accident on an Illinois highway and ended up rolling over on its side.

The two people inside the Wienermobile, or "hotdoggers" as Oscar Mayer calls them, were able to climb out of the passenger-side door unharmed, but parts of the vehicle attached to the giant fiberglass hot dog were damaged in the crash, according to the New York Times .

But leave it to Roker, 69, to make light of a sticky situation, taking to Instagram on Wednesday, July 24, to crack a joke about his own Wienermobile experience.

Sharing a photo of the time he got to ride in one of the recognizable vehicles, Roker quipped, "I heard about the @oscarmayer #weinermobile accident. All I know is, it was okay when I parked it."

Per usual, Roker's witty remark was enough to get his followers laughing, with many users on Instagram taking to the comments to praise the TV personality's sense of humor.

"Lol too funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣" one follower wrote under the Instagram post on Wednesday, while another person applauded Roker with a comment that read, "😂 good one Al."

"This made my day 😂" someone else commented on the photo of Roker taking a ride in a Wienermobile.

Another person said the comical shot of Roker is "pure art."
