The Sound of Music child star Angela Cartwright leads an entirely different life away from Hollywood , 59 years on after starring in the iconic movie.
In the classic 1965 musical romance The Sound of Music, Angela took on the role of Brigitta von Trapp. In the acclaimed film, Brigitta starred as the intelligent nine-year-old who often had no filter and was ruthlessly honest even at times when others found it inappropriate. The movie was a box office success and went on to win five Academy Awards and became the highest-grossing film of all time.
After Angela's famous appearance in the film she went on to star in a number of movies and television shows throughout her youth. Some of her most well-known roles included those in The Danny Thomas Show, Lost in Space, High School USA, Make Room for Granddaddy, and many others. But after her iconic run as an actress, Angela quit Hollywood and followed her own passions.

After she quit acting, Angela married her husband Steve Gullion and had two children together and she pursued her interest in art. After leaving the acting industry Angela became a photographer and mosaic artist which is a craft she has been perfecting for the past 30 years. Angela also went on to open her own art studio in Studio City, Los Angeles where she showcases and sells her artwork to fans.
Just this week, Angela took to Instagram sharing a glamorous selfie as she promoted her latest artistic endeavors. In the post, the blonde beauty as seen in a floral blouse and wearing a full-glam makeup look featuring light pink lipstick. The actress-turned-businesswoman captioned the snap: "Summer vibe. Working on a mosaic piece right now and totally enjoying it. Want to see my progress? #summerart."

Angela's fans took to the comments of her newest update showing her in love for the former actress and encouraged her to share her art with the world. Under the post, which was met with over 800 likes, one fan replied: "I would like to, very much. Thank you. I love mosaics!" And another complimented: "Still the beautiful girl you always have been! Stunning! Xxxooo." And a third said: "Yes, I would love to see the progress of your mosaic piece!"
