    Central 911 in Doddridge-Ritchie County upgrades Next Generation Core Services

    PENNSBORO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Central 911, serving Doddridge and Ritchie counties, has selected INdigital as its Next Generation Core Services (NGCS) provider, transitioning from Legacy E911 service.

    The upgrade includes implementing INdigital’s Emergency Services Network (ESInet), location services, and text capabilities.

    Additionally, Central 911 will use the INdigital MEVO continuity of service platform to ensure reliable backup for the new VESTA 911 system and support the administrative telephone system.

    Eric Ashcraft, Director of Central 911, expressed confidence in the partnership.

    “We are excited to partner with INdigital, whose full-service model provides a comprehensive solution for our emergency communication needs. Their ‘one throat to choke’ approach ensures accountability and seamless integration, giving us peace of mind that our systems are in capable hands.”

    Founded in 2001, Central Communications, Inc. is a cooperative effort between Doddridge and Ritchie counties, providing 911 service and central dispatching for first responders.
