Some animals venture into our lives almost as if we were meant to find each other. One Belgian Malinois named Levi understands this because he experienced it in the best way.

In the most kismet meeting there ever was, The Doggo Levi ( @thedoggolevi ) stumbled right into his very own kitten, and let's just say, it was love at first sight. The July 23 TikTok video is so pure, it'll make your heart swoon. Take a look and prepare to swoon!

Core memory 💞🥹 She was 1lb when she chose Levi to be her caretaker. She was healthy and in relatively good condition despite being found under a garbage can wheel. These two were inseparable, two peas in a pod 🫛💚 She was adopted by my sister, who named her Brooklyn, where she is still happy and healthy! 🫶🏼 #catdistributionsystem #kittendistributionsystem #kittenrescue #animalfriends #dogandcatbestfriends

"Core memory. She was 1 pound when she chose Levi to be her caretaker. She was healthy and in relatively good condition despite being found under a garbage can wheel. These two were inseparable, two peas in a pod. She was adopted by my sister, who named her Brooklyn, where she is still happy and healthy!," the caption reads.

The video shows Levi as he discovers a stray kitten, alone and hoping for a home of her own. Levi immediately takes to the kitten, and vice versa, as the two form a strong bond. The kitten even stops crying when her protector is near, and Levi makes her feel right at home with kisses and snuggles.

"The cutest part is that they probably met in another life and found each other again," one person commented. "The universe knew your pup needed its own baby," another said. "They had to be friends in another life! never saw a kitten that be so attached that age!!!! Cute couple!!" another added.

In a follow-up video , Brooklyn, who is grown up now, is seen with her new family while Levi is waiting for his next foster baby.

"Brooklyn will forever hold a special place in my heart," the caption says. "She is happy, healthy, and in a loving home with my sister and nieces. I haven't had a reunion with Levi and Brooklyn but am definitely curious to see if they would remember each other grown up now!"

"I have to give credit to our cat Bentley, who I previously owned when adopting Levi. I think Levi growing up around Bentley really allowed him to be so gentle and caring to Brooklyn."

Are Belgian Malinois Good With Kittens?

Though every dog's personality is different, PetMD indicates Belgian Malinois make good family pets because they're excellent watch dogs, but with a few caveats. They must be properly trained and socialized due to their high prey drive which can become an issue if guests, children, and other animals—like kittens—come into the house. The behaviors can lead to chasing or herding . As with any dog, supervision is necessary if you want to add a kitten to the mix.

Levi is a true gem. We hope he gets his happy ending with some other fate-like meeting one day.
