Lots of people don't let their dogs on the furniture. Everyone has their reasons for it; they don't want scratch marks, or they don't want it to stink, or they don't want fur all over it. If you don't want to let your dog on the furniture, that is your right.

Other dogs apparently aren't just allowed on the furniture, though. As it turns out, they not only can touch the furniture, but they can rearrange it at their leisure. On Sunday, July 21st, one mom caught her dog giving her living room a little bit of a makeover:

Silly blue..has always loved to sit in chairs…has not always understood chairs with wheels… #sillydog #goldenretriever

Blueberry is a strange boy, that's for sure. I don't even rearrange furniture myself, and I have thumbs!

Blueberry is a very sweet boy indeed; he has a gorgeous milky white coat and he loves to snuggle. Sometimes, he does tricks for treats, including one trick that recently went viral. As it turns out, Blueberry likes to point to things he wants!

First pointing, now rearranging furniture: are we sure that Blue isn't secretly a human in a dog suit? The chair that he's pushing around does have wheels, which makes it easier. His mom has been noticing this for a little while; the chairs in her house have been ending up pushed all over her house. Turns out that Blue was simply pushing them around.

Most likely, his intention was not to push the chairs around, just to climb onto them. He doesn't realize the chairs have wheels, so they move, and he moves with them. At the end of the video, you can see him climb right on once it's up against the wall!

How to Stop Dogs From Moving Furniture

It happens more often than you'd think, even if you don't have a big dog. They may not move it from room to room, but they might be able to move it a little bit - which is still annoying. When you dog jumps on the furniture, the momentum could be enough to push it backwards a bit.

To stop dogs from moving the furniture:

    1. Try to have your furniture on a rug.
    2. If rugs aren't an option, you can get grippy chair stoppers.
    3. For furniture with wheels, make sure the wheels are in the "locked" position.

You may have to compromise, though; if your dog wants to move their bed, for example, they will pick it up and drag it. The best you can do is try to catch them in the act and tell them no - thankfully, mom finally found out that Blueberry was into interior design!
