Golf best bets: 3 top props for the 3M Open
By Jack Dougherty,

Chan Kim has never played in the 3M Open, but this golf course should be a great fit for his game.
The PGA Tour returns to America this week for the 3M Open from TPC Twin Cities, and although it's not a major championship, the money counts the same for winning props. Let's lock in our three favorite props for the 3M Open.
We don't normally back the favorite of a golf tournament with a finishing position bet, but we're making an exception for this week. Finau should be an even bigger favorite to win the 3M Open. His price dropped after a missed cut at the British Open last week, but we're willing to forgive that performance considering he got stuck in the tough wave with high winds and rain.
Before the British Open, Finau notched three top-10 finishes in a row. He's consistently gaining strokes from off the tee and on approach, and he's found something with his putting lately with four straight positive weeks on the green. Finau absolutely dominates this tournament, as he has a win and two more top-10 finishes in five starts at TPC Twin Cities.
Unlike many of the players at the top of the odds board this week, Kim stayed in the United States during the Scottish swing and played extremely well. The 34-year-old finished T12 at the John Deere Classic, T10 at the ISCO Championship and T29 at the Barracuda Championship in his last three starts. He's never played in the 3M Open, but this golf course should be a great fit for his game.
The key at TPC Twin Cities is to avoid the water lurking on nearly every hole, and Kim has gained with his accuracy in four straight starts and six of his last seven. Kim is on fire with his ball striking, as he's gained strokes from off the tee and on approach in four straight events. If the putter cooperates, he should be in for another solid week.
Tournament matchup: Adam Svensson > Thriston Lawrence (-115 FanDuel )
What a whirlwind the last few months have been for Lawrence. The 27-year-old spent a month playing in the United States, flew back to Europe to play in Belgium and Germany, returned home to play in South Africa, then flew back to Germany and finished with two weeks in Scotland. After contending in a major championship for the first time and holding the lead entering the back 9 on Sunday, Lawrence hopped on another flight to Minnesota to play in the 3M Open on little rest.
Lawrence has to run out of gas at some point, and there's a good chance he does a few days after nearly winning a major. We'll gladly fade him with Svensson, who's deadly accurate off the tee and should be able to stay out of trouble at TPC Twin Cities.
