Boil water advisory issued for St. Bernard Parish neighborhood

ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. ( WGNO ) — A St. Bernard Parish neighborhood will be under a precautionary boil water advisory following a temporary water outage due to nearby maintenance repairs.

St. Bernard Parish officials said the advisory is expected to last from the time of the line repair’s completion until water testing is complete, which is expected to take 24 hours.

The following areas will be affected:

• 6201 E. St. Bernard Highway to Riverbend Drive
• Canal Street
• A Street
• B Street
• C Street
• 1st Street
• Jules Brown Street
• Louis Elam Street
• 4th Street
• Theresa Street
