    Additional roadwork ready to start in Bradford County

    BRADFORD COUNTY, Pa. ( WETM ) — PennDOT announced that more work on a countywide roadwork project will be performed in Bradford County over the next week.

    Crews will be removing lines along Route 6 between Valley Road (Route 1025) and Rummerfield Creek Road (Route 1021) in Wysox Township on Thursday, July 25. The following day, crews will apply a microsurfacing treatment to Route 6 between Sterling Hill Road and Cross Road/Shumway Road in Wyalusing and Tuscarora townships. Thursday and Friday’s work will be performed during daylight hours.

    More overnight roadwork to begin in Bradford County

    From Sunday, July 28, through Thursday, Aug. 1, crews will be microsurfacing two portions of Route 6 in Wysox overnight between the hours of 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. These segments of roadway will be between Route 6’s intersection with Main Street (Route 2027) and Laning Creek Road (Route 1033) and between Route 187 and Red Rock Road.

    Route 6 will be reduced to one lane of traffic in areas where work is being performed. Flaggers will be on-site to direct traffic.
