Cardinals rookie cornerback unintentionally rips Kevin Kolb

Arizona Cardinals rookie cornerback Max Melton, 22, recently had a funny moment at training camp.  He went to a thrift store looking for a vintage Cardinals jersey.  He purchased a Kevin Kolb jersey because he liked it and wore it on Tuesday when he reported to camp.  Melton did not know who Kolb was and got a lot of friendly ribbing because of it.

Kolb had a fantastic college career at Houston but did not experience the same success in the NFL after being drafted in the second round in 2007 by the Philadelphia Eagles. Kolb was the Cardinals quarterback in 2011-2012 who amassed a 6-8 record in 14 starts.  He concluded his career in 2013 in Buffalo.

A better choice for Melton would have been a Kurt Warner or JJ Watt jersey, but those are probably not available at thrift stores.

Is it more surprising that Melton had never heard of Kolb or that 2011/2012 jerseys are now considered vintage throwback ones?
