Kyle Richards Shouldn’t Lose Sleep Over Mauricio Umansky’s New ‘Friend’

As Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13 came to an end, viewers watched Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky call it quits on their 27-year marriage. The couple had some growing pains, and the introduction of Kyle’s new friend, Morgan Wade , didn’t help matters. The country singer and child actor grew close very quickly, leading to rumors that Kyle might be switching sides. At the Season 13 reunion, Kyle told viewers, “I’m evolving, I’m changing. I’m clearly going through some evolution of my own, and I don’t know. I don’t know what my future holds right now.”

Both Kyle and Mau didn’t seem to find time to talk in front of the cameras, and it was obvious she was growing tired of her real estate husband. News broke this week about Mau kissing a new woman. And while this sort of news might throw an estranged wife for a loop, I don’t think Kyle should be losing sleep over the matter. Curious? Here’s why.

Mauricio Umansky’s new woman

On July 16th, Mau was caught in Mykonos, Greece, kissing a mystery woman. TMZ revealed her to be 33-year-old Nikita Kahn , a 33-year-old Ukrainian-American actress and model. Her big claim to fame was playing Bruce Willis’ girlfriend in Catch .44. Before Mau; the model was dating the co-founder of Oracle, Larry Ellison. Both she and Mauricio follow one another on Instagram but have yet to speak on their courtship. Cameras caught the two embracing while at the airport and sharing a PDA-packed kiss for all to see while waiting for his luggage.

The outlet also shared photos of the duo cozying up at Scorpios Beach Club in Mykonos. Kyle hasn’t commented on the status of her marriage. But she did update her Instagram bio. Eagle eye followers were quick to catch that “wife” had been removed. Kyle’s bio now reads, “Mom, actor, author, producer, animal lover, a RHOBH, CAA.” Kyle was also spotted at the Minnesota Yacht Club music festival in St. Paul, Minn., with Morgan when the photos were leaked.

Kyle Richards is rebuilding friendships

During Season 13, Kyle’s relationships, especially with her once close friends, took a major hit. It almost felt like Kyle was shutting herself off from the world due to her marital issues. Dorit Kemsley , one of Kyle’s closest girlfriends, felt the cold shoulder the most. During multiple episodes, she asked her friend if she was okay, only to be met with resistance. Instead, Kyle turned to her new friend, Morgan, to fill the hole in her heart.

However, since splitting from Mauricio, it looks like the Halloween actor is making more time for those she used to find important. Dorit, along with Erika Jayne and Lisa Rinna, are back in her inner circle. Recently, the group gathered to celebrate Lisa’s 61st birthday. Kyle not only showed up, but she looked happy to be there, which is more than can be said for when she filmed with Mau.

Kyle Richards is working on herself

Kyle is not wasting any time eating Mallomars while hiding in bed. Instead, she is using her newly found freedom to put herself first. The mother of four recently celebrated two years of sobriety, and she seems happier than ever. Kyle posted a photo on social media sharing, “I can remember a time when the idea of going 2 weeks seemed impossible. I’m proud of the fact that I’ve had the willpower to stay on this path.”

Without having to worry about Mau and his real estate parties, Kyle has been able to stick to her clean living lifestyle. Kyle added, “But my mental and physical health became a lot more important to me than feeling like I had to be ‘on’ at a party or social setting.” I wonder if Mau didn’t fully support Kyle’s need for change and if that could have been the true catalyst.

Kyle has already confirmed that she is coming back for Season 14 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, even though she no longer has the wife title. The new season will undoubtedly follow Kyle on her new journey and hopefully reveal more about her relationship with Morgan. I don’t doubt that Kyle will be “Sliving,” as she has nothing to worry about. Between her own money, bag collection, and real estate, Kyle will land on her feet.
