A really sweet Golden Retriever shares his toys with his baby sibling in pure love, and it's been going on longer than their parents initially realized.
On July 23, 2024, TikTok user Beau Nose Bones (@beaunosebones) shared a video of a little toddler who always had a pack n' play full of dog toys and figured out why that was, and it's so moving. Take a look!
In a minute-long video , we meet Beau, a Golden Retriever who is the best big brother to his human sibling, Frankie.

"Recently, we've been noticing that our son's pack n' play has had a lot of our dog's toys in it," the text on the screen reads as we see toddler Frankie sitting in his safe space and playing with a dog toy stuffy.
The video shows several different clips of moments in time when the parents saw Frankie playing with dog toys that ended up in his play area. The parents would clear them out and put them back in Beau's corner, only for them to reappear back in the baby's zone.
"Then we started paying closer attention," the text on the screen read, realizing that Beau likes to sit and watch Frankie play.
"It didn't take long to realize what was happening ..." the video continued, showing new video clips of the sweet Golden Retriever and his human baby brother near each other while Beau dropped his toys into the space where Frankie played.
"This made us think back to when Beau would leave all his toys in Frankie's nursery before he was born..." the video explained while Beau sat in the nursery before his little brother was born, dropping a toy in the room.
He did this repeatedly during his mom's pregnancy. He would leave the toys in the middle of the room or drop them closer to the crib that was waiting for the baby's birth.
"It's heartwarming to think that this moment was just a sneak peek into the way they would play together today," the video added, showing a clip of Frankie as a baby and the two playing.
"The real-life Toy Story continues…," the video caption read.
In the comments, people very understandably had a reaction to the video and had to share their thoughts.
One wrote, "I'm not crying; I'm just allergic to so much cuteness."
Another added, "Golden Retrievers and babies together is just super wholesome and gives me the warm fuzzy feelings."
Someone else shared, "Ok, ok, so now I want a Golden Retriever… and a baby."
Another wrote, "He just wanted to share his favorite things with his favorite person."
One person added, "Golden Retrievers are by far the most wholesome dog breed on the planet."
Golden Retrievers Are Great with Kids
According to Dogster , Golden Retrievers are great with children and make good family dogs because of their temperament.
"Golden Retrievers make great family dogs. The site explains that they’re loyal and easygoing, making them a good choice for families with young children," the site explains.
"They’re tolerant of rough play and won’t bite or snap if your child is still learning to interact with dogs respectfully."
American Kennel Club says the same thing, adding that it's marker for whether a breed is good with kids is at its top rank for this breed, noting it has a high "level of tolerance and patience with childrens' behavior, and overall family-friendly nature," but reminds parent that supervision should always happen.
"Dogs should always be supervised around young children, or children of any age who have little exposure to dogs."
