    Registering for voting in the new election season

    PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) – Participating in voting is a right most American citizens hold. As the many twists and turns of the presidential election continue, many are asking questions and registering to vote.

    Voter registration is available to make sure voter rolls are accurate and up to date. West Virginia is one of the states that allows online voters registration. The Mercer County Deputy Clerk said on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 citizens are coming out of the woodworks to register.

    Vote on border bill blocked in Senate

    “I have had people come in that have never been registered to vote before. That are registering now,” said Marie Hill, the Deputy Clerk for Mercer County.

    Hill said there are many options to register to vote. She also said if you need to change your party affiliation to call your county office.
