‘Arrest Netanyahu’ rally held in Northampton

NORTHAMPTON, Mass. (WWLP) – Activists held an “Arrest Netanyahu” rally in Northampton Wednesday afternoon ahead of the prime minister’s speech to Congress.

People were seen gathering on the steps of Northampton’s City Hall Wednesday.

Organizers say this was an opportunity for people to voice their concerns that President Biden and Congress would allow Netanyahu into the U.S., saying he has committed genocide against the Palestinian people in Gaza. This local rally occurred simultaneously with a massive national mobilization in Washington D.C.
