#Socialites, do you agree? New York rapper DreamDoll says BBLs ( B razilian B utt L ifts) are “going out of the style” and now she wants to “transition back to her natural body,” adding, “Slim bodies are in right now.”
In June 2021, DreamDoll had undergone a fourth BBL surgery, the latest one to make her appear more natural. She took to Instagram and wrote, “So, I just completed a hip removal and a butt reduction. This is my fourth time in the process — y’all have to be patient, okay.”
During a December 2021 interview on Angela Yee ’s ‘ Lip Service Podcast ,’ DreamDoll further explained why she chose to get a reduction. She said, “It hurts… Pain… Not wanting a big butt anymore… I already got 4 reductions already. There’s levels to this reduction sh*t… It’s way harder to take it out… I just wanted a more natural body.”
While recently appearing on ’ The Zeze Millz Show ,’ the “You Know My Body” rapper, born Tabatha Robinson, spoke about her career and of course pressures she’s succumbed to while in the music and entertainment industry — like enhancing her body and undergoing multiple surgeries.
In a viral clip from her interview, DreamDoll tells host Zeze Millz about her surgeries including her BBL. She says, “I was working in that environment and it kind of made me want to do it.” Millz asks, “And you felt the pressure?” DreamDoll replies, “Yeah, but it’s like I went and got surgery and now I, like, want to transition back to my natural body.” When asked if she believes that “BBLs have gone out of fashion,” the rapper exclaims, “Yeah!” She adds, “I feel like natural bodies and slim, slim thick [bodies] are in right now.” The rapper says naturally she is slim, adding, “NASATA. N o A ** A t A ll.”
DreamDoll continues to add, “I wish I could have my A cups back. Like, so bad. I miss little b**bs. [Big b**bs] be hurting your back and stuff.” When asked if having all that work done to enhance your breasts, butt, and stomach leaves you vulnerable to being sexualized, DreamDoll replies, “Yes, sometimes.” She adds, “But also, it’s like nothing fits. All my stuff has to be custom-tailored. It’s a lot of maintenance, I’m tired. I’m sick and tired and I’m tired of singing it.”
Together the two women talk about how the women getting body enhancements keep getting younger and younger. When asked if she feels at all responsible for the ongoing BBL trend, DreamDoll says, “Well, listen. Whatever you do with your body is on you and it’s up to your momma.”
Taking into consideration her influence and success, DreamDoll says, “I’m very open when it comes to my surgeries and you know how I feel about it. If somebody asks me, ‘Oh, how do you remove this? Or do that?,’ or any type of advice — but I say, if I would have known what I know now, I would’ve never done it.”
