Prince Harry was moved to write a heartfelt letter to his sister-in-law Kate Middleton after watching her appearance at Wimbledon, according to reports .

The Princess of Wales attended the prestigious tennis competition alongside her sister Pippa Middleton and daughter Princess Charlotte, receiving a standing ovation from the delighted crowd. Kate's presence marked her second public appearance of the year as she continues her cancer treatment.

Kate announced her diagnosis back in March and has since taken a step back from the spotlight. Sources have suggested that it wasn't just fans who were delighted to see Kate at Wimbledon, with Harry and Meghan Markle also among those who were inspired by her resilient spirit.

A source claimed to Heat Magazine that seeing Kate in such high spirits prompted Harry to extend a peace offering in an effort to mend their strained relationship. The pair have been estranged ever since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit the Royal Family back in 2020.

The source stated: "Harry was watching Wimbledon and was thrilled to see Kate looking so radiant. He sent her a note to congratulate her and let her know how happy he was to see her out.

"He and Meghan are just so grateful that she's on the mend and able to get back to her duties after taking time off." The source also hinted that Harry is eager to mend his broken relationship with Kate and her husband Prince William.

They said "Harry is convinced" it's the ideal moment for him to "try and repair" the royal rift. "Even though it's an awkward situation for all of them, they both think the sooner they can put this all behind them, the better," the source added.

The source then suggested the ball is firmly in Harry's court to "find a way to fix it", with rumors circulating that the Duke of Sussex is keen on patching things up before his 40th birthday in September.
