The ongoing Wuxia Chinese drama Dashing Youth , starring Neo Hou and He Yu in the lead roles, released episode 15 on July 25, 2024. The episode focuses on Ye Dengzhi’s (He Yu) real identity being revealed to Baili Dongjun (Neo Hou).

In this episode, the Emperor’s army looks for Ye Dengzhi. They ask around about his whereabouts with hand-drawn posters. While roaming the streets with Lei Mengsha, Dongjun’s eyes fall on one of the posters. It read that Ye Dengzhi’s real name is Ye Yun and that he is a remnant of the general’s mansion. Ye Yun was Dongjun’s childhood best friend who was murdered. Stunned, Dongjun stops in his way as memories rush back to him. He recalls all the memories they had made with each other when they were young.

They wanted to leave Tianqi together when they came of age and split to conquer the martial world. They had planned to reunite after becoming sword deities. Dongjun tears up as he recalls the look on Ye Yun’s face when Dongjun first introduced himself. Without wasting another minute, he decides to visit Prince Jingyu’s mansion to look for him. But Mengsha stops him. He asks him not to reveal Ye Yun’s whereabouts to anyone now that he is a wanted criminal.

Meanwhile, Ye Yun wakes up to find Wenjun and Qingyang anxiously waiting for him. From Qingyang, he finds out that his master, the Rain Demon, had engaged in a fight with Mr. Li on Diaolou Tavern’s rooftop. After that, he disappeared. According to Mr. Li, he has returned to Nanjue. After Qingyang leaves, Ye Yun apologizes to Wenjun for his behavior.

But Wenjun is hurt that he is still not willing to tell her the truth. She cries her heart out as she calls him by his real name. She is happy that Ye Yun has returned to her in one piece. Ye Yun tries to console her, and the two share a soulful embrace as the old lovers reunite.

Further into the episode, Dongjun drinks with Yue Yao to celebrate his best friend’s return. He mentions that he has encountered many people in his life, and some of them became his best friends. But none of them has been able to replace Ye Yun. Furthermore, he reveals that he will protect Yun at any cost and won’t let him disappear again. Meanwhile, Ye Yun finds out from Qingyang that Wenjun is not fond of Prince Jingyu, but she will be married off to him in six months. Yun makes up his mind to get her out of this mess.

When Mr. Li hears about Yun’s whereabouts, he promises Dongjun to rescue him. But he will send him off to Nanjue afterward. Although this hurts Dongjun’s feelings as he won’t get to catch up with his old friend, he decides to go along to keep Ye Yun safe.

What happens in Dashing Youth episode 15’s ending?

As Ye Yun catches up with Wenjun, he finds out that she has been caged in Tianqi all her life. After Prince Jiangyu took a liking to her, he banned her from seeing the outside world. She tried to write letters to Dongjun, but her father tampered with them. Although she wishes to visit new places and try new delicacies, she doesn’t want to get Ye Yun in trouble. But to her surprise, Yun promises that he won’t leave Tianqi without her.

Mr. Li convinces him to leave Tianqi for the time being, as it won’t be so easy to leave with Wenjun. He promises to help Yun kill Prince Qing and take his revenge. Yun finally reunites with Dongjun, who had been waiting for him by the river. They share an embrace and promise to support each other.
