    From York to the Olympics: The athletes, coaches and more with ties to the county

    York County's history with the Olympic Games stretches back to 1932 in Los Angeles and as recent as 2022 in Beijing.

    While no York Countian is headed to the 2024 Paris Olympics, there will be a large Penn State contingent and Lancaster archer Casey Kaufhold , the No. 1 ranked female archer in the world, will compete.

    Here is a historical list of the Olympic athletes, coaches, officials and trainers who have connections to York County.
