CALIFORNIA – Starting July 1, landlords will only be allowed to collect one month’s rent for the security deposit on a rental property. Assembly Bill 12, signed into law last October, says regardless of whether the residential property is unfurnished or furnished, only one month’s rent can be charged in addition to any rent for the first month paid on or before initial occupancy.

Porsche has already been forced to retire the 718 twins in Europe due to more stringent cybersecurity regulations (and the Macan along with it). More stringent emissions requirements across the pond would have done the pair in at some point as it is. The 718’s electric replacement is underway, and while Reimold didn’t share further details on the upcoming models, it’s hard to imagine Porsche will leave much of a gap between the end of 718 production and the next model’s introduction.
