Active Weather Pattern On Tap For This Weekend

Another warm and muggy day is on tap across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley, as gulf moisture continues to surge north and raise our heat index values! High temperatures today, while still around average for this time of year, will generally be in the lower to middle 90s across much of the coverage area.

Another very small chance of showers and storms will be possible as well, mainly along and south of the I-40 corridor. We still anticipate a much better chance for rain as we head towards the weekend, but a big-time heatwave could be on the horizon for next week!
