Bobby Details Rough Night Grilling

Bobby Bones made plans with his wife that he was going to grill for dinner. She marinated the steak and made some side dishes including sweet potato fries, so all Bones had to do was cook them on the grill.

He put the sweet potato fries on the grill for 15 minutes and around 6 minutes he needed to flip them. He checked around 4 minutes and saw they were already burnt black on the bottom because he had the grill on too high. He flipped them over and tried to scrape the black off, but it didn’t work. He then put the steak on the grill with the instructions to flip it at 3 minutes and then let it sit with the grill not on for 5 minutes. But after he flipped it, he saw it was fully black and he burnt both sides. He took it off the grill and cut into it, but it was still raw inside even though it was burnt on the outside. He realized he forgot to clean the grill that’s why it burnt so fast. When he brought the burnt sweet potato fries and steak to his wife, he was embarrassed because he only had one job and screwed it up.

His wife was able to save the dinner by cutting off some of the charred pieces and then recooked it in the house on the stovetop and it ended up being great! Bones learned that he needs to clean the grill between usage!
