    Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Stuart McNay , a four-time Olympian , is on the campaign trail for his fifth Olympic Games, with his sights set on Paris 2024. McNay, who stands at 5'7" and is currently 42 years old, is teaming up with teammate Lara Dallman-Weiss for the upcoming games.

    McNay's journey in sailing began at an early age in Brookline, Massachusetts. He sailed competitively for Yale University, where he became a two-time All-American. After graduating from Yale in 2005 with a degree in Architecture, McNay dedicated himself to Olympic competition. He competed in the Men's 470 at both the 2008 and 2012 Olympics with Graham Biehl . After the London 2012 Games, Biehl retired from the 470, and McNay joined forces with David Hughes . Together, they reached the podium at dozens of top-level events and finished in fourth place at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

    Paris 2024 will be the first Olympic Games where the formerly gender-split 470 will become a mixed class. McNay has teamed up with Tokyo 2020 Olympian in the Women's 470, Lara Dallman-Weiss , to chase their Olympic podium goals. McNay, a three-time U.S. national champion (2013, 2014, 2015), enjoys soccer, basketball, and reading in his spare time. He currently resides in Providence, Rhode Island.
