A DELTA flyer is slamming the airline after their bags and goods have been missing for three days.

This comes as a federal investigation has been opened into Delta Air Lines.

The investigation will scrutinize whether the airline took adequate care of its customers during last week's travel chaos, according to the Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg.

"All airline passengers have the right to be treated fairly, and I will make sure that right is upheld," he said in an X post.

Flyer Sagar Manhas raged at Delta following his recent travel experience.

"Very disappointed with @Delta !" he wrote in a X post.

Manhas explained how last week's travel disruption had affected him.

"72 hours no idea where our baggage is," he wrote.

"We didn’t even get a chance to board the flight."

Delta was one of the airlines hit hardest by last week's Microsoft outage.

The company canceled more than 5,500 following the Crowdstrike software collapse on Friday.

It has since struggled to get back to full operations as it had banned a certain group of flyers from traveling, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.

Delta temporarily barred all unaccompanied minor travel.

"Due to an earlier vendor technology issue, unaccompanied minor travel is currently paused through Tuesday, July 23," the website said.

"Those already booked will not be able to travel."

"Please do not book new travel for unaccompanied minors at this time."

Delta had also canceled 400 flights on Tuesday morning.

Other airlines also experienced major disruptions last week, with images of packed airports and passengers sleeping on jetbridges circulating across the world.

American Airlines and United Airlines had also canceled and delayed flights during the tech outage.

Overall 4,700 flights had been canceled, by Friday afternoon, at the peak of the chaos, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.

These carriers have since bounced back with most flights operating as planned.

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Delta Air Lines for comment.
