NYT Strands July 26, 2024 Answers & Theme

The NYT Strands July 26, 2024 puzzle is relatively easy compared to yesterday’s game. Given that the event the clue is talking about is happening at the same time, it shouldn’t be too hard to figure it out. The spangram is also spread across the board pretty much in plain view. Most of the other words are simple to deduce as well, so long you have some knowledge of the theme. If not, then you may need some help with the answers below for today’s The New York Times word game. Here is the full solution for the Strands game for 07/26/2024.

What are the NYT Strands answers for July 26, 2024?

Here are all of the answers to the Strands game for July 26, 2024. We will provide the solution to the spangram theme and the location for all of the remaining words that you need to find.

    • Today’s Theme Clue: Go for the gold
    • Spangram & Theme: OLYMPICS
    • This spangram is fairly easy to figure out and to locate as well. The first letter ‘O’ is on the left-hand side of the grid.
    • List of other word answers
    • EQUESTRIAN – This word actually hits two corners, which is quite rare. The ‘E’ is in the top-right corner and it follows the northern edge to the top-left corner and runs down to the ‘N’.
    • ARCHERY – The first letter of this word is next to the ‘S’ in the “OLYMPICS” spangram. The rest of the letters are right above the spangram.
    • SWIMMING – Given the “-ING” is right in the middle of the board, it should be easy to figure out where the beginning of the word is.
    • TRACK – The ‘T’ is right below the ‘S’ in the spangram.
    • GOLF – All of the letters in this word are found within the lower-right section of the grid.
    • KARATE – Sadly, karate isn’t a sport in the 2024 Paris Olympics, but it’s appeared in prior ones. You can find the end of this word in the lower-right corner.

We found that all of the words here are fairly easy to figure out. But if you do need a hint, you can find extra words in the puzzle. Find about three or four and you can earn yourself the location of all the letters for one of the theme words. This should help if you don’t know many Olympic sports.
