Chip City Cookies Opening in Philadelphia

Chip City Cookies, NYC’s fastest-growing gourmet cookie chain with over 40 locations nationwide, will open its first Philadelphia location at 204 S 17th St, Philadelphia, PA 19103, in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood. The opening date is Friday, August 2, and the first 100 customers will get a FREE cookie.

Chip City was born in Astoria, Queens (New York City), in July 2017 as a hobby of two childhood friends (Peter Phillips and Teddy Gailas) who sought to recreate the simple taste of their childhood.

What began as a fun challenge to see who could create the best cookie turned into a small storefront, some equipment, and a dream that led the entrepreneurial team that turned the brand into what we know and love today – including over 40 locations across NYC + Long Island, NJ, CT, FL, MD, VA, MA, IL and now PA.

Chip City rotates more than forty unique flavors yearly, with the menu changing weekly to offer classic flavors and seasonal varieties. It also always offers dairy-free options.

Some of the more popular flavors include Peanut Butter & Jelly, the Everything Cookie, Oatmeal Apple Pie, Blueberry Cheesecake, S’Mores, Lemon Berry, and the Cannoli Cookie.
