Mom legally changes son’s name as people caught 'off guard' by sudden the move

One mom’s unconventional name for her child is making people do double takes .

A pharmacy worker who came across the name was surprised by it, having to double-check when she heard it.

Taking to Reddit, she detailed the tale for readers who had a lot to say about the unique moniker .

She wrote: “I work in a pharmacy where we got a call from a Mom looking for her kid's prescription (which we hadn’t received yet).

“She gave me his birthday and when I confirmed the name ‘Westin’ she said no, it’s ‘Cowboy.'

“This took me off guard and I said, I’m sorry what? She said they had his name legally changed to ‘Cowboy’ and sure enough, the script came over with the first name ‘Cowboy.’ YIKES!”
