Even Meghan McCain Is Disgusted by J.D. Vance’s ‘Childless Cat Lady’ Comment

Jennifer Aniston is far from the only person deeply offended by J.D. Vance ’s resurfaced commentary about “childless cat ladies.” On Thursday, former co-host of The View Meghan McCain , who has two young children with fellow conservative pundit Ben Domenech , tweeted a response to Aniston’s critique that read, “I have been trying to warn every conservative man I know—these JD comments are activating women across all sides, including my most conservative Trump supporting friends.” McCain then added, “These comments have caused real pain and are just innately unchristian. This is not who we are.” Singling out Vice President Kamala Harris in a 2021 Fox News appearance with Tucker Carlson before being elected to the U.S. Senate, Vance argued that the country was being run “by a bunch of childless cat ladies who are miserable in their own lives and the choices that they’ve made, and so they want to make the rest of the country miserable, too.”
