Initially launching in 2022, the Elgato Stream Deck Plus has had a drought of accessories until today. Introducing the new XLR Dock and USB Hub For Stream Deck Plus.
Whether you’re in the market for a gift or to bolster your streaming setup, Elgato has revealed some accessories for those who own the latest 2022 Stream Deck Plus . The two new docks for the Stream Deck Plus device can add XLR microphone support or a USB hub to the nifty device, which makes it easier for aspiring content creators to focus on the creation and not on ‘how to add XLR support.’
The XLR Dock plugs neatly into the rear of the Stream Deck Plus (as shown above some basic assembly is required), and allows any PC to utilize the highest-end microphones — especially XLR mics like the Steelseries Alias Pro XLR — without batting an eye. Similar to the Wave XLR , a 3.5mm audio jack is included to reduce latency even further. The XLR Dock brings all consumer audio controls together—not just hardware with easy installation but also useful applications. The Dock is intended to be used with the Stream Deck Plus, and together ease of setup to a PC is one USB cable away.
Elgato didn’t stop there. They have also introduced a nifty USB Hub intended to work seamlessly with the Stream Deck Plus for those who don’t require XLR mic compatibility. The USB Hub includes two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and an SD (or microSD) card reader at the side. Elgato has made it clear that this USB Hub will unfortunately not support Thunderbolt speeds.
The Elgato XLR Dock and USB Hub can be purchased from the official Elgato website. The XLR Dock costs $119.99, and the USB Hub costs $59.99 . Fans can head to the official site for more information.
