Katie Ledecky's Four-Word Message Before Olympics Sparks Excitement Among Fans

Katie Ledecky is set for another year of dominance at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Ledecky, 27, is entering her fourth Olympic Games as one of the most decorated swimmers of all time.

The seven-time Olympic gold medalist, 21-time World Champion and holder of two World Record titles took to social media with a simple message before Friday's Opening Ceremony.

"Last bit of prep," Ledecky wrote along with some training photos in Paris.

Fans flooded Ledecky's comment section with excitement and words of support.

"Can't wait to see you LEGEND," one wrote.

"I wonder what the over/under is on how many records she breaks this time," another said.

"The fact we get to watch so many DOMINANT women in this Olympics is my favorite thing about this Olympics!" another added.

"LFG. So very, very proud of you, Katie. Crush it," another wrote.

Ledecky is one gold medal shy of tying former Team USA swimmer Jenny Thompson as the most-decorated Olympic female swimmer of all time. She's two gold medals shy of tying the all-time record for most by any female athlete in any Olympic sport.

Ledecky will kickoff her 2024 Paris Olympics schedule with the 400-meter freestyle on Saturday morning.
