Mini Dachshund Puppy Hilariously 'Bullies' the Big Dogs Like a Total Boss

Dachshunds take no nonsense. Yes, they're cute and look like little sausages, but they're also very easily angered a lot of the time. They will go toe-to-toe with your big dogs any day of the week.

If you don't believe that, you need to watch this video from Tuesday, July 23rd. This pup is the smallest dog around, but he commands the respect of his siblings like no other. One thing is for sure: I wouldn't want to get on his bad side!

NayNay Blevins is braver than I am. I just have three of the same breed; mixing breeds like this is something I don't think I could handle!

There are three dogs in this family: a senior Pit-Mix, a Chocolate Lab, and a Mini Dachshund puppy. As you can imagine, all three of these dogs are known for being crazy sometimes. They love each other very much, but they also get in frequent fights, mostly over food. The big dogs like to pick on the puppy at mealtime!

In this video, Scrappy Doo is standing on the porch and trying to command his brothers to come to him. He's not yet big enough to master the stairs, but that doesn't stop him from trying - mom even has to come to his rescue. For all of his crazy, though, there's a lot of love, too. He loves to snuggle!

    Dachshunds are Not for Everyone

They're adorable, and they're very sweet dogs, and no one is denying that the urge to get a Dachshund is incredibly strong. Who wouldn't want a weenie dog? Unfortunately, their small size in misleading: if you don't know what you're doing, a Mini Dachshund can be just as hard to manage as a full-grown Husky.

There are some things that make Dachshunds better-suited for experienced dog parents rather than beginners:

    1. They bite a lot. They were bred to hunt badgers; they run up, grab on, and drag.
    2. They're incredibly stubborn and said to be hard to potty train.
    3. They can bark a lot when not trained properly.
    4. They have health issues that makes them "needier" than some other breeds, including their back issues.
    5. They're not the best for families with small, grabby children.

Scrappy still has a lot of learning to Doo, honestly. He plays rough with his brothers, and while they've proven not to mind, it's still something to get under control. Luckily, he has his whole life ahead of him, and mom has had a Dachshund before, so she knows how to manage the temper tantrums!
