Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are in no hurry to file for divorce
The end of Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky’s relationship is a slow burn. The duo, who have been married for nearly 30 years, announced their separation in 2023. At the time, they were still living in the same house. That has since changed, with Umansky moving out. That doesn’t mean they’ve filed to officially split just yet.
Despite their lengthy separation, neither Kyle Richards nor Mauricio Umansky has filed for divorce yet. Still, it appears that they are moving in that direction. Although she’s denied the gossip, Richards has been rumored to be romantically linked to Morgan Wade. Umansky was spotted looking cozy in Greece with Nikita Kahn just this week.
Do Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have a prenup?
While it is unclear why neither Richards nor Umansky has filed for divorce, if they do seek a legal split, things could get messy. The duo has been married for many years, and there is a lot of money tangled up in their union. Kyle Richards once revealed that she and Mauricio Umansky do not have a prenup.
In January, Richards appeared on Jeff Lewis Live and opened up about the end of her marriage. When quizzed about a prenup, Richards revealed that the pair did not have one because, at the time, there were no assets to protect. Richards said that Umansky didn’t have a dime when they wed. He later founded The Agency, a billion-dollar real estate brokerage.
Richards clarified that she believes their finances should be split 50/50, as they built everything together. Umansky hasn’t commented on their financial history together.
Richards and Umansky married in 1996. They have three children together. Richards also has a child from a previous relationship.
