The Morning Show Season 4 Adds Jack Ryan’s John Hoogenakker, Unstable’s Rachel Marsh to Mix It Up With Bradley and Alex (Exclusive)

If Seasons 1 through 3 of The Morning Show are any indication, at least one of these new characters is going to have their work cut out for them when the Apple TV+ drama returns for Season 4.
Rachel Marsh ( Unstable ) has been cast as Alex’s assistant, Remy, and John Hoogenakker ( Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan ) has been cast as an FBI agent named Andy, TVLine has learned exclusively. Both are recurring roles.
Alex’s need for a new right-hand-person seems to indicate that there’s been a shift in the org chart at the fictional network; Isabella (played by Hannah Leder), filled the position in Seasons 1 through 3, but things became more complicated after she started dating executive producer Chip (played by Mark Duplass) in the third season. And given that Season 3 ended with Jennifer Aniston’s Alex proposing a merger of her network, UBA, and its rival, NBN, Ms. Levy’s assistant likely will have plenty to do in the very near future.
Meanwhile, while no additional details are available for Hoogenakker’s character, we’re guessing that his job as an FBI agent will place him in Bradley’s orbit in upcoming episodes; last we saw Reese Witherspoon’s character, she was turning herself in to the FBI for destroying evidence that her brother took part in the Jan. 6 attempted overthrow of the United States Capitol Building.

In addition to Unstable , Marsh’s TV credits include NCIS: Hawai’i , Head of the Class and iCarly . In addition to Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan , Hoogenakker has appeared in Dopesick , Castle Rock , APB and Colony , among other series.
