Older Adults, What Are Some Trends From "Back In The Day" That You Actually Hate Now?

Some past trends might have been popular ~just because~ — and maybe you even really liked them then! But now, you might have a completely different opinion of them looking back.

So, older adults, we want to hear from you: What are some trends from "back in the day" that you're glad aren't common now?

Maybe you can think of beauty or fashion trends, like massive platform heels, and you hope they never, ever make a comeback.

Perhaps while everyone was using certain technology like landline phones, you found them to be a hassle and are SO glad that they aren't as common now — like, you wish you had the convenience of a cellphone growing up back then.
