Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet could be the key to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle repairing their relationship with the Royal Family, according to a Royal commentator. The Sussexes are reportedly considering using 2024 as a chance to warm relations with the royals, with Harry even sending a private message to Kate recently.

On GB News, presenter Patrick Christys discussed the possibility of a Royal Family truce with expert Kinsey Schofield in January, hinting that the couple might "surely use the grandkids as a way back" into the Windsor circle . Schofield agreed, calling it the "perfect" path to regain favour with the monarchy.

Kinsey Schofield remarked: "If Prince Harry did want a way back in he could use the excuse that despite his personal beef with King Charles , he wants his children to have a relationship with their grandfather, it would be the perfect way back wouldn't it?"

She also mentioned a significant event: "Well don't forget according to reports when Prince Harry received the phone call that he was being evicted from Frogmore Cottage, he said to his father 'don't you want to see your grandkids anymore? "

Schofield noted: "So you are exactly right if there is a way in, Harry is already thinking about it."

Despite the family rift, Prince Harry has made two brief visits to the UK this year, including one in February following news of King Charles's cancer diagnosis. On both occasions, Harry travelled without Meghan, who stayed behind in the US with Archie and Lilibet.

The young Sussexes have had limited exposure to the UK, with Lilibet's first and only visit occurring in June 2022. Archie, unlike his sister, was born in the UK in 2019 and relocated to America when he was less than a year old.

The family of four now resides in an opulent £12million mansion in Montecito, California .

During Prince Harry's latest visit to Britain in May, one expert strongly suggested that it was not very likely for the Duke to bring his children back home due to a single reason. As revealed by the Mirror, Royal insider Hannah Furness hypothesises that Meghan's choice to remain behind is fueled by concerns about safety measures.

Hannah shared her thoughts during an episode of A Right Royal Podcast, stating: "There is quite a heavy narrative that Meghan and the children won't be coming back until they can resolve this security issue to their liking. But [Harry] will certainly be coming and going."
