Fans In Awe Of Slo-Mo Video Of Simone Biles' Historic Yurchenko double pike vault

The gymnastics portion of the 2024 Paris Olympics hasn't even officially begun and Simone Biles is already leaving fans stunned.

During her practice session on Thursday, Biles was able to pull off what is considered to be the most difficult and possibly dangerous vault move in existence. The move, which was originally known as the Yurchenko double pike and was later renamed to the Biles II due to the fact she has been the only woman to attempt it. According to gymnastics experts, the move either ends in the gymnast landing on their feet or their neck, as there is no way to get out of it once you start the process.

For Biles, who received a 9.8 in execution at the 2023 U.S. championships, she appeared to pull off the move as close to perfect as possible again on Thursday.

If she is able to pull off moves of this difficulty when the bright lights aren't on, fans are left to wonder what sort of jaw-dropping attempts she'll have when the Olympics kick off.

Fans flooded to the comment section on social media to praise her for yet again pulling off the insane vault, with one commenting , "This is absolutely WILD." while another called her the GOAT writing, "Goated! I was screaming watching it".

Women's gymnastics will begin on Sunday, July 28 with the qualification round. For Biles, her seven Olympic medals is currently tied with Shannon Miller for the most Olympic medals won by an American gymnast, meaning she has a chance to make history in Paris.
