Ice Spice clarifies her stance on Latto and Nicki Minaj amid a slew of rumors that have plagued her mentions on social media for over a year.

The Bronx native opened up about several hot topics in her new Rolling Stone cover story, which arrived on Thursday, July 25. Deep into the interview, Ice Spice explains what she would do if she had the opportunity to speak with the Atlanta rapper face-to-face.

“I feel like if we ever spoke and I asked her ‘What’s the issue?’ it’d be like a blank stare. It’d really be no issue whatsoever. Especially from me,” she said.

“I can understand a friendly competition, but I just feel like at this point it’s a joke that she’s just dragged out, and it’s just not even funny," Ice continued. "Like, bro, ‘Think U the Sh*t’ is from January. You’re going to post a piece of s**t cake to announce something that’s good news for you? But it is kind of a compliment because you’re taking something that’s supposed to be a fun moment for you and you’re making it about me … again.”

Fans have been chattering about Ice Spice and Latto's feud since last year after they subbed each other in their music and on social media. After Ice's "Think U The Sh*t" dropped in January, Latto fired back with "Sunday Service" a few weeks later and shot the music video in the Bronx. The two managed to keep things civil during the BET Awards 2024 , but fans noticed that the "Big Energy" rapper shaded Ice during her live performance while she was backstage.

After explaining her stance on Latto, Ice Spice also addressed the rumors about her relationship with Nicki Minaj. She said they're in a good place amid rumors about a rift. Fans were convinced that the two artists had issues following a slew of leaked text messages from a former friend, in which she vented about contract negotiations for their "Barbie World" collaboration for the Barbie soundtrack.

“We don’t have the closest relationship, you know? But we’re definitely good,” she explained. “We’re mutuals. We had smash records together. I love us together. I think the world does too.”

“I think that the saddest part of the whole situation," she said about the leaked messages, "it’s somebody I knew for so many years and called my friend had me open up and be vulnerable with them, and then took complete advantage of that for her own benefit,” Ice says. “So that was the saddest part really, just feeling used, basically.”

The "Princess Diana" rapper also opened up about the making of her debut album Y2K! before it drops this Friday. Check out the full cover story here.
