An elderly white woman is being dubbed as a "Karen" after she was caught on camera threatening to call the police on her Black neighbor for turning on her air conditioner.

TikToker user @camera.street8 shared footage of the incident captured by the doorbell camera on the Black woman's home.

The white woman appeared to be standing at the front door when the homeowner said "Hi, how are you?" through the camera's intercom.

"Yeah, I need to talk to you," the white woman said.

When the Black woman said she wasn't home, her neighbor threatened to call the cops.

“Well then I’m gonna have to call the police to come over here because you were told not to put your air conditioner on and your air conditioner’s running and it’s going in the unit downstairs,” the neighbor said.

The Black woman said that the air conditioner shouldn't be running and noted that she spoke with her landlord about the issue. However, the white woman continued to argue with her neighbor, saying the A/C was on.

The homeowner ended the argument by saying she would come home to turn it off.

"How soon can you be here?” the white neighbor asked. “In 30 minutes,” the homeowner responded.

The video ended with the neighbor saying “Thank you, we’ll see you."

“What Being a Black women living in a retired neighborhood looks like…calling the police on me for having my AC on," text over the TikTok video reads.
