Rihanna pulls up her skirt and moons fans as she 'gives up on her summer goal' of losing weight

Rihanna has a solution to not making her "summer goal" of obtaining six-pack abs .

The Grammy-winning singer turned business mogul made an Instagram post on July 23 to share a new "summer goal" she will be focusing on instead and that involved a particular fashion look.

In the Instagram post , the singer revealed a clip of her self mooning fans while out and about donning a plaid pleaded miniskirt

She captioned the video: "since I clearly won’t be achieving my six pack til next summer, I switched my summer goal to matching my shoes to my panties!"

But Rihanna had a cheeky little surprise for viewers as they watched the video, The Love on the Brain artist told the person behind the camera, “I wanted to tell you that my panties match my creepers." She spun around and lifted her skirt from the showing her black underwear that did match the color of her shoes.

Her underwear not only matched her shoes but her Savage x Fenty bra that was visible from her open blue button up. The off-screen voice complimented the Fenty businesswoman on the "cute bra" which Rihanna revealed it was Savage, with a teasing question of "have you heard of it?"

Fans took to Rihanna Instagram to compliment her look, show their amusement and inspiration for her antics and to continue asking for the album. One fan wrote: "I’m in love with this whole look!!!" A second fan said: "Not rocking my six pack this summer.. Riri said it’s ok." Another said: "The albums need to match with the panties too." A fourth fan said: "Sis showing the goodsssss"

The last time Rihanna gave an update about her highly anticipated ninth album was in June to Entertainment Tonight .

"I think that music, for me, is a new discovery," she told the outlet. "I'm rediscovering things. I have been working on the album for so long that I kinda put all that stuff aside and now I'm prepared to go back in the studio. I'm gonna start -- give me a second!"
