JT is reflecting on her personal growth and the new direction of her solo career.

On Thursday, July 25, the Miami native sat down with Angie Martinez to discuss several pressing subjects including her new project City Cinderella . They started their conversation by reminiscing about their emotional episode of Angie's IRL podcast. From there, JT opened up about her new venture as a solo artist following City Girls ' split.

"I’m working like a new artist because I’m re-introducing myself," JT tells Angie. "It ain't as bad as I thought it was gonna be. I’m not a new artist at all."

"I just always think I was fire, I was always fire," she added. "I love it... it’s a good feeling... I’m having so much fun... it’s been nothing but love and support overall.”

JT and Yung Miami have been doing their own thing for the past few months. After they dropped their last album RAW , the Miami artists shifted their focus to their solo careers. Caresha recently told Complex there's no ill will between them, however, she acknowledged they're in two different places in their lives.

After Yung Miami and JT went their separate ways, the Miami native began to practice true self-care. JT said she sought therapy after her first interview with Angie and surrounded herself with the right people who could help her win. She also reduced her time on X formerly known as Twitter. She thinks the social networking website is "so ghetto" and claims it's "mentally abusive.” Despite her massive following, JT said she could do without it.
