A 40-year Facts of Life “sisterhood” went down the drain during the coronavirus pandemic amid talks about a potential revival, according to star Mindy Cohn .

The actress slammed the “greedy b- - -h” responsible for the project’s unraveling during a recent appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live , though she refrained from identifying by name which of her former co-stars it was.

As Cohn, 58, explained, she was involved in a roundtable with show creator Norman Lear and other actresses, including Jennifer Aniston , Octavia Spencer and Amy Poehler , during the pandemic when their discussion led Lear to realize that shows like The Facts of Life were popular with their generation. When Lear asked if Cohn and fellow co-stars Kim Fields , Nancy McKeon and Lisa Whelchel would be interested in a revival, Cohn recalled they had “never really talked about it” before but began considering the possibility.

“We got into talks, and we hired a writer, and the four of us got together on Zoom—this was during COVID—and we had meetings with Norman about it,” she explained.

Before the project progressed, Cohn said there “was drama.”

“What happened was not cute,” she said before explaining that one of her co-stars “went behind our backs and tried to make a separate deal for a spinoff just for herself.”

The fallout “devastated the rest of us,” she continued. “For a 40-year friendship and sisterhood”—terms she put in air quotes—“there was a tidal wave of emotion around it.”

Michael Hitchcock , who appeared on Jeff Lewis Live with Cohn, chimed in with the comment, “There’s always a greedy b- - -h."

    “Greedy b- - -h,” Cohn agreed. “She was a greedy b- - -h. I’ll say it.”

Cohn declined to name the actress but suggested fans could likely guess who it was based on who appears on her Instagram feed. Regardless of who was responsible, it doesn’t seem like Facts of Life fans will get that revival.

“It’s dead. It’s very dead,” Cohn said.

"A couple of people can’t move past it, don’t want to move past it. We are not as united. Let me put it that way," she added. "We were united for 40 years over not talking about each other, not doing dirty, not, you know, 'all for one, one for all.' And this kind of wrecked that, which is sad."
