The acclaimed (ahem) “comedy” racked up 1.23 billion minutes viewed across 28 total episodes for the week of June 24, with an audience that was two-thirds age 18-49.
Prime Video’s The Boys came in at No. 2 with 1.2 billion minutes viewed/29 available episodes, followed by former chart-topper Bridgerton (1.1 billion minutes/24 episodes), Netflix’s Worst Roommate Ever (755 million minutes/nine episodes) and Netflix’s America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders (556 million minutes/seven episodes).
Nielsen’s analysis credits The Boys ‘ three-and-then-weekly release strategy for the series’ staying power above the billion-minute mark. Bridgerton meanwhile dropped 54% week-to-week in minutes viewed, suggesting people are “very quickly” bingeing the new half-season.
Rounding out the Top 10 originals for the week of June 24 were Netflix’s Supacell , Love Island (on Hulu/Peacock/Netflix), Netflix’s Perfect Match , Netflix’s Designated Survivor and Paramount+’s Mayor of Kingstown .
Speaking of Dad TV, Showtime’s Your Honor (which as of late has been streaming on Netflix as well as Paramount+) returned to the No. 1 spot on Nielsen’s overall streaming chart, with nearly 1.6 billion minutes viewed for its 20-episode library — fueling loose talk of a possible Season 3 “revival” — followed by Dexter , which is also now streaming on both services and hit the chart with nearly 1.5 billion minutes viewed.
